Power Coating

Powder coating add not only a high-quality finish but also add durable, long-lasting colour to your machined parts. Powder coating has many advantages that make it the perfect choice for your metal fabrication needs.

Durability
Powder coating makes your parts highly resistant to wear and tear no matter what it is used for. When the paint cures, it forms chemical bonds that create a flexible and durable finish. Powder coating also helps to protect the metal part underneath by preventing rust.

Long-lasting
Parts that are powder coated will last a long time. This is partly due to the powder coatings’ durability, but it is also down to the thermal bonding process. This makes it resistant to many weather and environmental conditions.

Quality
The finish on powder coated parts is much higher than that of other painted products. The powder melts and then reforms as a solid, meaning no drip or run marks.

Speed
The process of powder coating is quicker than other painting methods. Once the powder has been applied, it is instantly cured and finished. There is no waiting around for the part to dry, making it much more efficient.

Any material that can withstand an electrical charge and temperatures that exceed 180’C can be powder coated. This is most metals, including steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
