Standoff

Standoff

The standoff is a threaded separator with a defined length. Standoffs usually help to lift one component on top of another, which are essential to provide space between the part and the housing. In other words, standoffs create or maintain a gap between two components. This is necessary when there is a need to reduce friction between parts, or to increase insulation or allow airflow around parts.

On the one hand, standoffs can also be used to improve accuracy when positioning screws or other fasteners. On the other hand, standoffs can also be threaded, so they can be used to add strength or stability to an assembly. JeaSnn specializes in custom standoff hardware with internal or external threads in various shapes (round, hexagonal, square, etc.) for many different industrial applications.
